Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery
Job Details:
- Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage during nights and weekends
- Work 12-hour shifts either AM (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or PM (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Hospital inpatient coverage only with varying patient volumes
- Treat 90% adult patients and 10% pediatric patients
- Use Epic EMR/documentation system
- Must be board certified in Neurosurgery with active SC license
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year experience required with clean background check
- Must be out of training and practicing medicine for at least 2 years
- Experience required in inpatient/acute care, emergency medicine, mental health/psychiatry, and surgical care
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required
- DEA license required
