Opportunity:
Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery
Job Details:
- Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage during nights and weekends
- Work 12-hour shifts either AM (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) or PM (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
- Hospital inpatient coverage only with varying patient volume
- Treat patient population of 90% adults and 10% pediatrics
- Utilize Epic EMR/documentation system
- Minimum 1 year of experience required, must be out of training and practicing for at least 2 years
- Board certification in neurosurgery required
- Must maintain active South Carolina state license
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
- DEA registration required
- Must have clean background and malpractice history
- Experience preferred in pediatrics, inpatient/acute care, emergency medicine, mental health/psychiatry, and surgical care
