Opportunity:

Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage during nights and weekends
• 
  
• Work 12-hour shifts either AM (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) or PM (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
• 
  
• Hospital inpatient coverage only with varying patient volume
• 
  
• Treat patient population of 90% adults and 10% pediatrics
• 
  
• Utilize Epic EMR/documentation system
• 
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, must be out of training and practicing for at least 2 years
• 
  
• Board certification in neurosurgery required
• 
  
• Must maintain active South Carolina state license
• 
  
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
• 
  
• DEA registration required
• 
  
• Must have clean background and malpractice history
• 
  
• Experience preferred in pediatrics, inpatient/acute care, emergency medicine, mental health/psychiatry, and surgical care
