Opportunity:

Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Neuro

Job Details:

• Inpatient/hospital-based neurosurgery coverage position for one provider
• 
  
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• 
  
• Coverage anticipated from mid-December 2026 through at least April 2027
• 
  
• Perform post-procedural daily care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• 
  
• Provide patient and family communication and education
• 
  
• Collaborate with one employed neurosurgery NP on-site
• 
  
• 100% inpatient setting with varying patient volume
• 
  
• No call coverage required
• 
  
• Documentation completed using EPIC EMR
• 
  
• Board certification required
• 
  
• Active Virginia license required (providers who need to obtain will not be accepted)
• 
  
• Active ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
• 
  
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required
