Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Neurovascular

Job Details:

• Locum Nurse Practitioner position in Neurointerventional Surgery
• 
  
• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week until a permanent provider is hired
• 
  
• Shifts available days and nights: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 
  
• Weekend availability required
• 
  
• 100% inpatient practice setting
• 
  
• Patient population is adult and geriatric only
• 
  
• Responsibilities include code stroke response and post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients
• 
  
• EMR system used is EPIC
• 
  
• Board Certification through AANP required
• 
  
• Active Virginia state license preferred
• 
  
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Neurocritical care nursing experience required
• 
  
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required
