Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic Surgery, Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery

Job Details:

• Call coverage hours are 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM with weekend rotations
• 
  
• Clinic coverage is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
• 
  
• Shifts are structured as 7 on / 7 off, running Monday through Sunday for full weeks
• 
  
• No first assist required
• 
  
• Position involves inpatient and emergency department rounding on orthopedic trauma cases along with an outpatient clinic schedule
• 
  
• Facility is a Level II trauma center focusing on trauma-related cases, not elective procedures
• 
  
• Procedures include splinting, casting, fracture reductions, and injections
• 
  
• Team consists of two physicians and two APPs with two MAs in clinic and full nursing support in inpatient and emergency department settings
• 
  
• Average of 12 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Board certification required; minimum certification level is certified
• 
  
• ABLS certification is required
• 
  
• Fellowship experience preferred
