Were seeking a passionate and driven contingent Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Palliative Care team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Opportunity Details

  • Position Type: Contingent (0.0 FTE); Inpatient consulting service focusing on goals of care and complex pain management
  • Current provider team: 3 Physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Professionals
  • Schedule: As needed; minimum of 3-4 shifts per quarter
  • Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan
  • Specialty: Palliative Care

Requirements

  • Provider experience required
    • Relevant clinical experience in palliative care, geriatric medicine, or critical care populations preferred
  • APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
