APP Psychiatry - UNL Health Center (Part-Time)
This role provides a combination of telehealth and in-person visits, with an emphasis on outpatient psychiatric medication management, including care for anxiety, depression, and ADHD. The provider will collaborate closely with Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) in support of UNL students. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with 2-5 years of experience; new graduates will not be considered.
Position Highlights:
Part-Time, 0.5 FTE (Exempt)
Shifts scheduled Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
No weekends, holidays, or on call
Flexible scheduling, with options such as 2 days one week and 3 days the next

Duties: APP Psychiatry - UNL Health Center (Part-Time)
Provide comprehensive care to individuals with various DSM-5 psychiatric conditions in an outpatient and/or inpatient setting for medical patients. Diagnose medical conditions, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses in collaboration with a designated supervising physician. Perform and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic medical and/or surgical procedures. . Examine and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, manage psychotropic medications, collaborate with other medical providers, perform testing and administrative support functions as needed.
