APP Specialty Care - Cardiology (Outpatient)
Nebraska Medicine is seeking anAdvanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join Nebraska Cardiac Care, a newly integrated outpatient cardiology clinic. This unique, stand-alone practice offers the feel of a small, family-oriented clinic paired with the resources and support of a leading academic health system.
This role is ideal for an experienced cardiology APP who can step in with confidence, manage an established patient panel, and make an immediate impact. As a key member of this close-knit team, you'll collaborate with a dedicated group including a nurse, sonographer, nuclear medicine technologist, medical assistant, and onsite supervisor, all committed to delivering high-quality, personalized cardiac care.
With an outpatient-only focus and consistent patient volume, this position offers a strong balance of autonomy, continuity, and meaningful patient relationships in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Duties:
Provide comprehensive care to individuals and families with cardiac conditions including coronary artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure in an outpatient and/or inpatient setting for medical patients. Evaluate for emergent medical conditions including ACS, STEMI, life threatening arrhythmias, and cardiogenic shock. Diagnose medical conditions, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses in collaboration with a designated supervising physician. Perform and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic medical and/or surgical procedures.
