Opportunity:

Physician Assistant - Surgery Trauma

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM with minimal call coverage from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 
  
• Available assignment dates include June 26-July 2, July 22-30, August 29-September 3, October 23-25, and December 25-31
• 
  
• Cover trauma cases, emergency general surgery, and anchor the trauma/surgical ICU
• 
  
• Must be comfortable charting and rounding on patients
• 
  
• Function as first assist for OR cases
• 
  
• Work in high volume, Level II trauma center environment
• 
  
• Experience required in trauma and acute care surgery team settings
• 
  
• ICU experience preferred as third tier to trauma/acute care surgery experience
• 
  
• Must be willing to obtain state licensure
• 
  
• Epic EMR experience preferred

The facility maintains a Level II trauma center designation and offers emergency general surgery coverage with a dedicated trauma/surgical ICU. The medical center emphasizes high-volume patient care and utilizes Epic electronic medical records system to support coordinated patient care across multiple departments.
