Requirements

  • Masters degree or higher as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Requirement for NPs: AGACNP or ACNP
  • Current state licensure and DEA certification
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in urology, surgical, or outpatient care preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills relevant to urology
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and support teams

Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:

  • Conducting patient history and physical exams in both office and procedural settings
  • Assisting with urologic surgeries and procedures
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging studies
  • Developing and implementing individualized patient treatment plans
  • Providing patient education on urologic conditions, treatment options, and post-procedure care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
  • 7 days of after-hours Call Center patient calls coverage per month
  • Monitoring assigned surgeon clinical results
  • Patient message responses in tandem with the clinical staff team
