Job Description:

Apparel Graphic Designer

Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Hybrid model: onsite Monday-Thursdays, and can work remotely from home on Fridays)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Graphic Designer for a 6-month contract role focused on production art and project coverage. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and contribute to the design and development of apparel. This position requires a creative individual with a strong background in graphic design for apparel.

Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: A minimum of three+ years of professional experience in graphic design for apparel is required.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with both tees and cut-and-sew apparel.
  • Proficiency in production art and graphic design.
  • Knowledge of screen printing, graphic application methods such as patches and heat transfers, and trims.
  • Experience in color design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A passion for and experience with basketball or sports apparel.
  • Experience building repeats and All Over Prints (AOP).

Portfolio Requirements

Candidates should be prepared to present a portfolio that includes:

  • Three to five project examples with visuals and workflow descriptions.
  • Examples of production art schematics.
  • Graphic design work for apparel.
  • Apparel line art illustration and lay downs.
  • Color design examples.
