Our mission is to change the way defense firms do business.Position SummaryBoyd & Jenerette is seeking a dedicated and driven Appellate and Litigation Support Attorney to join our team. This role requires a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and a drive to contribute to the success of both the team and our clients. The position involves providing trial support and appellate work in insurance defense related matters.Location & CommitmentsPractice Area / Department: Appellate and Litigation/Trial SupportStatus: Full‑time / ExemptWork Location: The attorney may work remotely or at an office near one of the firm's offices.ResponsibilitiesWork with trial counsel to provide litigation and trial support in insurance defense related matters.Handle all aspects of appeals.Attend trial if necessary to serve as appellate counsel and provide trial support.Conduct legal research, assist with preparation for hearings, and provide legal counsel to clients.Analyze legal matters, advise clients, and negotiate on their behalf.Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case management.Maintain up‑to‑date client files for easy access by the team.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements & Competencies5 or more years' experience in insurance‑related law (first and third‑party actions, insurance coverage and bad faith, personal injury, auto liability, premises liability, property damage, and/or products liability).Strong legal research and writing background.Florida Bar admission.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management and problem‑solving abilities.Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.Must meet billing goal expectations.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience in addition to a generous bonus structure.Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, and ancillary options) with firm‑paid life insurance and long‑term disability.401(k) with profit sharing.Unlimited PTO.Parental leave.Professional development opportunities.Regular firm‑sponsored social events.#J-18808-Ljbffr
