You will work alongside the delivery driver to load, transport, deliver, and install appliances while protecting customers’ homes and representing our company with excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery driver with completing appliance deliveries safely, efficiently, and professionally
• Help load, unload, secure, and organize appliances in the company box truck
• Use appliance dollies, straps, moving blankets, and other equipment properly
• Help protect appliances from damage during loading, transportation, and delivery
• Protect customers’ floors, walls, doors, and property while moving appliances
• Assist with appliance installations and connections when required
• Remove old appliances when included with the customer’s delivery
• Keep the truck, delivery equipment, and work areas clean and organized
• Communicate respectfully with customers throughout the delivery process
• Follow the delivery driver’s instructions and all company safety procedures
• Help verify that the correct appliances are loaded and delivered
• Assist with completing delivery paperwork and documenting appliance condition
• Notify the delivery driver or management of any damage, safety concerns, or delivery problems
• Work closely with the sales, warehouse, and service teams to provide an outstanding customer experience

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift and move 75+ pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform physical work throughout the day
• Ability to safely use appliance-moving equipment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer-service skills
• Dependable transportation to and from work
• Willingness to follow company policies and safety procedures
• Appliance delivery, moving, warehouse, or installation experience is preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
• Ability to commute to or relocate to Lake Charles, Louisiana, before your start date
