Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to support our NextGen Platforms built around Big Data Technologies. This role requires extensive experience in cluster management and a deep understanding of various technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and more. The successful candidate will be involved in the full life cycle of applications and will be an integral part of our agile development process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in managing Hadoop and Data Science Platform operations, particularly with Cloudera Hadoop, Jupyter Notebook, OpenShift, and Docker-Container Cluster Management.
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop Architecture, HDFS, and Hadoop Cluster management.
• Expertise in Cloudera Hadoop components such as HDFS, Sentry, HBase, Kafka, Impala, and others.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux, Database management (Sybase/SQL/Oracle), Java, Python, Perl, Shell scripting, and infrastructure.
• Experience with automation/DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, SVN, and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Cloudera Admin/Dev Certification.
• Certification in Cloud, Docker-Container, OpenShift Technologies.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Work on complex and highly visible tasks in support of multiple projects requiring multiple areas of expertise.
• Integrate solutions with other applications and platforms.
• Manage platform operations across all environments, including upgrades, bug fixes, deployments, and monitoring for resolution and forecasting.
• Serve as a liaison between client partners and vendors to provide technical solutions that address user needs.
