Application Architect III

Join a dynamic team at a leading financial organization in Charlotte, NC, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy and driving innovation within the Global Funding Investment Insurance Technology sector. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week on-site.

Position Summary

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with business analysts, developers, testers, and scrum masters to support development and strategy for global funding, collateral management, liquidity management, and debt/capital hedge management within the Treasury organization. Your expertise in both business and technology systems will be essential in driving the organization's objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams across the trade lifecycle, including Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, Operations, Regulatory and Operational Compliance, and Risk Management.
• Deliver solutions for various financial instruments such as Interest Rate Derivatives, Foreign Exchange Derivatives, Futures, Bonds and Securities, Secured and Unsecured Money Market Instruments, and Loans.
• Participate actively in an agile software development team and work effectively with geographically diverse teams.
• Utilize your knowledge of balance sheets and income statements to support financial analysis.
• Comfortably work in environments utilizing technologies like Python, Java, and Angular.
• Communicate effectively within a cross-functional organization.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Requirements Documentation.
• At least 5 years of experience working with clients or stakeholder groups to solve problems and design solutions.
• Proven experience delivering solutions for Capital Markets.
• Experience working in an agile software development team.

Desired Qualifications

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.
• Experience using Python/Oracle for data analysis or modeling.
