About the Role

• The State of Wisconsin is seeking an Application Architect III to drive the development and support of the Unemployment Division modernization projects.
• This is a technical leadership position required to design, develop, and implement application architecture for various projects.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in .NET Core, GitHub, Blazor, and other related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application architecture for modernization projects
• Develop user stories and quarterly planning strategies
• Select and review on-premise and cloud tools and technology
• Perform code reviews and work item reviews to ensure technical objectives are met
• Collaborate with business partners to define project requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application architecture and development
• .NET Core 8 experience
• GitHub experience
• Blazor experience
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum development methodology
• Experience with .NET Framework, Visual Studio .NET, and Swagger

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira
• Dynatrace experience
• Knowledge of on-premise databases such as Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server
