Application Configuation Analyst

Summary:

• Work Mode: Remote within specific states, excluding California, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, New York, Oregon, or Washington.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business units and IT to deliver and maintain applications that enable business transformation.
• Focus on technical solutions and applications, understanding business processes and translating them into analytics and dashboards.
• Participate in the production support and enhancement lifecycle of the company's analytic systems.
• Promote the use of tools and applications supported by the Analytics Team.
• Plan and facilitate the Power BI user group monthly meetings.
• Manage projects related to applications and hardware supported by the Analytics team.
• Manage work assignments given to internal and external developers to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Assist in managing reporting environments to adhere to IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) Controls and CIP regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related technical discipline with a minimum of 7 years related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required.
• Experience in configuring or administering systems to function per business requirements.
• Advanced skills in supporting reporting tool applications (Power BI, QlikView, RapidMiner, TOAD, SAS, Anaconda, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of the Azure data warehousing solution.
• Ability to promote Power BI Governance and self-service analytics across the company.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to think creatively.
• Knowledge of project management concepts and tools.
• Experience facilitating meetings in support of projects.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing multiple stages of projects including initiating a business case, creating work plans, identifying risks, implementing change management, and managing costs.
