Description
Seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and operation of a global pricing grid in the financial industry. This role involves deploying, scaling, and optimizing a computational system on public cloud platforms. Responsibilities include orchestrating large-scale calculations and ensuring the platform's performance and reliability. The position is based in Jersey City, NJ, and is a contract role.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and manage a large-scale distributed compute grid on public cloud platforms.
- Design and implement efficient task distribution across numerous processing cores.
- Deploy and manage a diverse library of quantitative pricing models.
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization and performance of the cloud grid.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new pricing models seamlessly.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in designing and operating massive-scale compute grids.
- Expert-level experience with major public cloud providers and container technologies.
- Strong programming skills in high-performance computing languages.
- Experience in the financial industry with large-scale simulations is desirable.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
