Description
We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead Mainframe projects in a collaborative setting. Based in the Minneapolis region, this contract role involves overseeing project delivery, managing stakeholder relationships, and coordinating with offshore teams. The candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of mainframe technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Mainframe projects, enhancements, and support engagements.
- Drive project planning, estimation, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between client and offshore teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business users and IT leadership.
- Provide technical guidance and support for modernization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Mainframe project leadership.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage project risks and deliver within set quality standards.
- Experience in coordinating distributed teams.
- Technical expertise in Mainframe systems and modernization efforts.
