The Application Developer 2 will support the development, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of enterprise Asset Management and Power Delivery applications. The role will work with applications such as AIMS and Fulcrum, databases, API integrations, and other enterprise technology solutions. The candidate should have strong software development, database, API integration, troubleshooting, and SDLC experience.

Job Description:
The Application Developer 2 will support the development, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of enterprise Asset Management and Power Delivery applications. The role will work with applications such as AIMS and Fulcrum, databases, API integrations, and other enterprise technology solutions. The candidate should have strong software development, database, API integration, troubleshooting, and SDLC experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications.
- Support development and maintenance of the Asset Information Management System (AIMS).
- Support the Fulcrum application for inspections and field data collection.
- Develop and maintain databases, including Oracle, SQL, schemas, and data models.
- Develop and support REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues.
- Provide production support and resolve software defects.
- Participate in application architecture, technical design, code reviews, and SDLC activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Follow security, performance, scalability, and development best practices.
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development/programming experience.
- Strong SQL and database development experience.
- Experience with data modeling, schema design, and data mapping.
- Experience with C#, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Hands-on experience with REST and/or SOAP APIs.
- Enterprise application development/support experience.
- Knowledge of SDLC and software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Full-stack web application development.
- OutSystems or comparable low-code platforms.
- Agile development experience.
- Utility, asset management, or Power Delivery application experience.
- Fulcrum/mobile inspection applications.
- GIS, Esri, or ArcGIS experience.
- Cloud platforms and SAML/OAuth.
- Version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
