We're seeking an Applications Developer to design & support web applications, assist with vulnerabilities, perform end-of-life upgrades, and modernize existing applications. This role requires strong experience with: .NET and C#, database design and SQL skills, and Jenkins. This role is 3-days onsite in Midtown Manhattan.

Description

  • Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise web applications using technologies such as SharePoint, .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, and Angular while ensuring application performance, reliability, and security.
  • Modernize and improve existing solutions by implementing innovative approaches, promoting coding best practices, and leveraging current technologies and development standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT stakeholders, business users, and onshore/nearshore development teams, within an Agile environment to deliver application enhancements and solutions.
  • Support application lifecycle activities, including troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation, system integrations, automated testing, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

  • Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET (MVC and Web API/REST services), and modern web application development practices.
  • Proficiency in database design, SQL development, relational databases, and integration technologies, including RESTful APIs; experience with Entity Framework is a plus.
  • Experience with modern front-end development frameworks, preferably Angular, TypeScript, and Kendo UI; React experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes, with experience using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, and Azure.
