Responsibilities

• Utilize proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks.
• Leverage expertise in Drupal search engine technologies, including Solr.
• Engage in front-end development with the Drupal Platform and web hosting environments.
• Apply knowledge of website security best practices, including SSL/TLS encryption, firewalls, and malware detection/prevention.
• Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, using the Drupal Platform as the Content Management System (CMS).
• Assist in the placement of website content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, appropriateness, and timeliness of content and graphics, adhering to standards such as WCAG accessibility compliance.
• Communicate and implement service-related links to other County departments and/or Federal, State, and Local agencies and related links.
• Ensure website security by regularly updating software, plugins, and themes, as well as implementing security protocols and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to website functionality, server configuration, and user access, working closely with IT support and external vendors as needed.
