Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer III with strong front-end development experience and a passion for building clean, user-friendly applications. This role requires hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Ember.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in enterprise cloud environments, supporting production-critical systems, collaborating with engineers and managers, and using modern development tools including CI/CD, Git workflows, and AI-assisted development tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build user-friendly interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Ember.
- Support front-end architecture, usability, performance, and user experience improvements.
- Work in enterprise cloud environments and support cloud-based application development.
- Collaborate directly with engineers, managers, and business stakeholders in the electric utility / operations domain.
- Use Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines to support development, testing, and deployment.
- Work with SQL, data models, and structured datasets to support application functionality.
- Support documentation, development efficiency, and code quality using AI tools or copilots.
- Explore automation or AI-agent-based approaches to improve development workflows.
- Operate effectively in a regulated, production-critical enterprise environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of application development experience.
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Ember.
- Strong understanding of user experience, design principles, and front-end architecture.
- Experience in enterprise cloud environments and cloud technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD and Git-based development workflows.
- Basic SQL skills and data modeling experience.
- Experience with dimensional modeling concepts such as star schema is preferred.
- Experience using AI tools or copilots to assist with development and documentation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work directly with engineers, managers, and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to operate in a regulated, production-critical enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Databricks.
- Experience with automation tools or AI agents to streamline development workflows.
- Experience in the electric utility, operations, energy, or enterprise technology domain.
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications, data-driven applications, or internal business tools.
- Familiarity with production support, release management, and enterprise governance processes.
