Position Description: Technical Value Management (TVM) Engineer ICE Powertrain Cost Reduction The Technical Value Management (TVM) Engineer supports cost-reduction initiatives across Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) powertrain systems. This role works closely with Design & Release (D&R) engineers, program teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and implement engineering changes that generate measurable product cost savings. The engineer combines technical powertrain knowledge with project management, data analysis, and value engineering expertise to drive cost optimization initiatives from concept through implementation. Responsibilities include developing business cases, coordinating cross-functional activities, tracking savings realization, managing implementation timing and risks, and supporting annual TVM cost-reduction targets.
Key responsibilities include:
Generating and implementing cost-saving opportunities across powertrain systems.
Supporting annual TVM cost reduction objectives.
Identifying design, material, manufacturing, and supplier cost reduction opportunities.
Developing business cases and technical justifications.
Coordinating activities across multiple vehicle and powertrain programs.
Leading cross-functional meetings and driving action-item completion.
Maintaining implementation schedules, workplans, and savings forecasts.
Analyzing engineering and cost data.
Preparing leadership reports, presentations, and implementation summaries.
Tracking savings realization and supporting financial validation.
Supporting continuous improvement and value engineering process development.

Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3 years of automotive engineering experience.
Experience supporting cost reduction, value engineering, or product optimization initiatives.
Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
Strong project coordination and execution experience.
Experience analyzing engineering and cost data.
Experience developing and implementing engineering changes.
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree o Mechanical Engineering /Automotive Engineering /Manufacturing Engineering / Industrial Engineering Or related engineering discipline
