The Opportunity:

CACI is actively searching for Application Engineers to join our Maryland team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on connecting client expectations with the technical expertise of engineering teams. As an Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in designing, customizing, and testing software or hardware solutions to meet unique client requirements.

Your responsibilities will include providing engaging pre-sales demonstrations, ensuring smooth post-sales integration, and offering ongoing troubleshooting support. You’ll essentially be the bridge between what our clients need and what our engineering teams deliver, making a real impact on every project.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support.

  • Provide technical support to customers.

  • Troubleshoot customer issues.

  • Create and maintain user accounts.

  • Assist customers with application configurations.

  • Work directly with vendor support where needed.

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Experience or familiarity with Tenable products

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly

  • Heavy understanding and navigation of Linux (specifically Red Hat)

  • Ansible or Salt/Puppet

  • Experience with ticketing applications such as Jira or Snow.

  • Good communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • 10 years minimum experience and a high school diploma/GED

  • 8 years minimum experience and an Associates Degree

  • 6 years minimum experience and a Bachelor’s Degree

  • 4 years minimum experience and a Master’s Degree

  • 2 years minimum experience and a Doctorate’s Degree

  • All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions. ​

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,600 - $181,800
