Technical Product Owner/Manager - IoT / Connected Vehicles

Onsite | 5 Days/Week

We are seeking an experienced Product Application Manager to support and manage a portfolio of Connected Vehicle and IoT applications. This role will lead application operations, drive issue resolution, monitor performance, and collaborate with global teams to ensure reliable vehicle connectivity, telematics data collection, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support connected vehicle and telematics applications.
• Monitor application performance, vehicle connectivity, and data quality.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, vendors, and business teams to resolve complex issues.
• Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI and Tableau.
• Analyze vehicle and operational data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Support container-based solutions and cloud-connected platforms.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, ITIL, and data governance standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting IoT, connected vehicle, or telematics applications.
• Experience with connected vehicle platforms, fleet management, or automotive technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka/Confluent and high-volume data transmission.
• Experience with CAN Bus, J1939, DBC files, and vehicle data systems.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
• Strong skills in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and data analysis.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OTA (Over-the-Air) updates and Remote Diagnostics.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, containers, and automation tools.
• Experience in commercial vehicles, automotive, or transportation industries.

Ideal Experience: Connected Vehicles, Telematics, Fleet Management, Automotive IoT, or Vehicle Data Platforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lewisville, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
