Role description

Responsible for end to end application packaging virtualization testing and deployment using MSI and AppV technologies in large enterprise environments

Key Responsibilities
  • Create customize and maintain MSI packages using InstallShield AdminStudio Wise WiX
  • Perform AppV sequencing 5x and application virtualization
  • Repackage EXElegacy installers into standardized MSIAppV formats
  • Modify MSI tables transforms MST and custom actions using Orca
  • Test install upgrade uninstall and resolve conflicts
  • Support application deployment via SCCM MECM
  • Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues L3 support
  • Develop automation using PowerShell VBScript
  • Maintain documentation and packaging standards
Required Skills
  • Strong handson experience in MSI Packaging AppV
  • SCCM MECM application deployment
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Windows 1011 Server environments
Good to Have
  • MSIX Intune packaging
  • Citrix VDI exposure
  • ITIL awareness
