Introduction

The Application Production Support role is crucial within the Banking Production Services group. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing 24x7 follow-the-sun support coverage, responsible for operational support of real-time banking applications for our Global Banking business. This role involves resolving system-related issues, supporting change and release activities, and collaborating with technology and business partners across GTO for risk, audit, and regulatory activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Proficiency with SQL Database query language, Splunk, and other monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with application support processes including incident management, release management, and risk governance.
  • Knowledge and experience in problem and conflict management.
  • Dedicated to process and tool improvements for efficient project execution.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders across business and technology groups in various locations.
  • Prior work experience in the banking industry or with a client in this industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Dynatrace.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day production application support.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues on the banking platform and associated applications.
  • Participate in incident bridges, ensuring all required individuals are engaged in resolving issues.
  • Provide technical support on payments applications, conduct in-depth technical analyses, and follow up post-issue to determine root causes and implement mitigating solutions.
  • Document and maintain operational procedures and ensure all contingency-related documents are accurate and up to date.
  • Fulfil risk, audit, and regulatory requests.
  • Engage in initiative work as required and continually identify and drive process improvement opportunities, such as improved monitoring, automation, and simplifying processes.
