The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application production support for real-time banking platforms, incident and problem management, Unix/Linux, SQL, and monitoring tools such as Splunk and a proven ability to restore service quickly, determine root cause, and implement preventive solutions across mission-critical payments and banking applications.Responsibilities:Provide 24x7 follow-the-sun operational support for real-time banking and payments applications.Investigate and troubleshoot production incidents, lead incident bridges, and coordinate resolution with all required stakeholders.Perform in-depth technical analysis across Unix/Linux, databases, logs, and monitoring tools to restore service and stabilize platforms.Conduct post-incident reviews to determine root cause and implement mitigating and preventive measures.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proficiency with Unix/Linux for application support, log analysis, and troubleshooting.Strong SQL skills with experience on Oracle and related database query languages.Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk.Background in application support processes including incident, problem, change, release, and risk governance.Preferred Skills:Experience with IBM WebSphere and enterprise payments platforms.Familiarity with ITSM tools and modules such as Remedy Incident, Problem, and Change Management.Why BCforward?At BCforward, we believe in advancing lives and careers.
