Application Production Support

Introduction

The role is within the Banking and Production Services group and involves providing level 2 operational application support for both existing and new applications. The successful candidate will monitor application jobs, resolve application issues, and support change and release activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Practical work experience with Unix/Linux systems.
• Ability to write SQL queries and perform database updates.
• Experience with monitoring scheduling tools such as Autosys, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of Informatica and Hadoop systems for troubleshooting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Remedy and ServiceNow.
• Prior work experience in the banking industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with DataStage.
• Knowledge of TeraData and Spark.
• Experience in participating in incident bridge calls.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production application support with in-depth analysis and troubleshooting on banking platforms.
• Document and maintain operations procedures.
• Work closely with technology and business operation teams.
