Job Title: Application Programmer

Location: Remote (LA)
Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension up to 2 years)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Application Programmer to support the development and modernization of enterprise applications within a large-scale public sector initiative.

This role will focus on full-stack development, including application enhancements, workflow automation, reporting functionality, and maintaining data integrity across systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable, reliable, and efficient applications aligned with enterprise standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise applications
  • Support development of intake forms and workflow automation features
  • Build and maintain automated validations and business logic calculations
  • Develop interactive reporting and data export functionalities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues
  • Ensure data integrity and system reliability
  • Collaborate with:
    • Architects
    • Business Analysts
    • Stakeholders
  • Support Agile development cycles and enhancements
  • Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities
  • Maintain proper documentation of development processes and system functionality

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in application development
  • Strong experience with SQL Server
  • Experience supporting CRM systems and intake portals
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • .NET full-stack development
    • ASP.NET framework
  • Familiarity with enterprise coding standards and best practices
  • Experience with reporting automation
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to Azure cloud platform
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks:
    • Vue
    • Angular
    • React
  • Experience in public sector or government projects
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools
  • Experience building reporting dashboards
