Akkodis is seeking an Application Programmer for a Contract job with a client in Pennington, NJ(Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of financial applications. You will manage batch/business queries, incident management, and use tools like ITSM, JIRA, and ITRS.
Rate Range: $70/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Application Programmer job responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining software applications.
Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Troubleshooting and debugging applications.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
5+ years of programming experience & Production Support experience.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and design patterns.
Proficiency in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
Experience with database management and SQL.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $73.00 per hour
