Application Programmer III

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Application Programmer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle database objects and supporting large-scale enterprise applications. This role requires a proactive problem solver with strong communication and analytical skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced PL/SQL development experience
• Proficiency in SQL performance tuning
• Strong data modeling and database design skills
• Experience with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket
• Prior work experience in a similar industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues
• Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans
• Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions on schedule
