Introduction

We are seeking an experienced mobile Automation Engineer with strong leadership skills, insights on Mobile Architecture, and software development expertise. The ideal candidate will have a background in developing and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks and will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality software across a range of mobile devices and tablets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in developing and documenting test UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java Appium
• Proficiency in Java and Shell Scripting
• Experience with Mobile Test Automation using Appium
• 5 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing Manual QA
• Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration unit tests
• Knowledge of Selenium Test NG
• Experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
• Experience with source code and CI/CD management tools like Jenkins, Perforce, Git, or Bitbucket
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar technical field
• Prior work experience at client or in the client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase
• Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features
• Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes
• Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features
