Application Programmer III

Introduction

This role requires an experienced and highly skilled professional to play an active role within the regulatory space of Global Regulatory Reporting Data across Liquidity, Basel IV Regulatory compliance, CCAR stress testing compliance, and other critical regulatory efforts. The successful candidate will build solutions to handle the Basel IV requirement and manage large data processing using big data technologies. The role involves delivering innovative solutions in the DataConnect platform, essential to Finance, Treasury, and Risk operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience as an Oracle developer.
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle 12c or above, with strong experience coding PL/SQL procedures and functions/packages.
• Good object-oriented design skills, knowledge of patterns, and architectural understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven global team interaction.
• Willingness to learn, adopt, and advance team best-practices, procedures, and qualitative standards.
• Experience in software development and financial institutions as a functional/business analyst.
• Experience in the design and build of Java, Oracle, and Hadoop-based technology stack.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data integration, and transformation tools.
• Strong knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Hive, or Apache Flink.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Tableau, developing and understanding Stored-Procedures, ETL Tools.
• Forecasting Strategic Planning experience from an Investment Bank or a Financial Services Firm.
• Client Visual Studio C# .net experience.

• Lead application development to support current and target processes.
• Engage in transformational centric activities around design assessment and multi-component integration.
• Optimize data pipelines and queries for better performance and scalability.
• Guide multi-disciplinary teams through the entire lifecycle from requirement, design, solutioning, and testing.
