Overview:
Summary/Objective
The Applications Project Coordinator position manages application-based client projects from inception to conclusion. The coordinator assists the Applications Manager with specific administrative tasks related to their assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions

- Plan and coordinate the success of various client-initiated and internal projects while working closely with Application Technicians and the Application Lead, including, but not limited to, existing client projects, internal service enhancements, and process definition and/or implementation.
- Communicate project progress, decisions, and deviations with the Applications Manager, Applications Technicians, and project stakeholders.
- Monitoring daily progress of projects to keep workflow on track.
- Update documentation for clients, projects, and/or internal processes.
- Prepare and update project plans and timelines for assigned projects.
- Host and attend meetings as necessary to communicate with clients and staff.
- Oversee project tasks and expectations to provide streamlined project execution professionally.
- Track project budgets and hours as required.
- Monitor, review, assign, and create projects from the Applications Queue
- Monitor real-time events and multi-task between various concurrent activities.
- Support the Applications Manager by handling administrative tasks to keep projects running smoothly.
- Involve senior management on more sensitive or complex problems.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility, though management of projects includes supervision of project tasks by project team members.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment (both internally / externally) and travels in an automobile (or possibly an airplane). This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, and copy machines. This role routinely operates a company motor vehicle.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work and days are variable, but typically Monday through Friday. Weekly backup coverage rotations are required. Project Coordinators are expected to be on call at any time to assist with the successful completion of project tasks. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is not expected for this position.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
- Advanced capabilities to provide verbal and written communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced ability to translate project concepts into easy-to-understand language.
- At least one year of a project or employee management work experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- One or more years of project or employee management work experience.
- One or more relevant project management certifications (i.e., Project+, CAPM, and PMP).
