Application Project Manager Contract
Columbus, OH (Hybrid)
NO THIRD PARTY C2C Need to go to office 3 days week
Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage multiple projects primarily focused on applications
- Responsible for the oversight and tracking of all financial elements within the project
- Ensure that scope is maintained, and appropriate change control applied if scope changes
- Risk and issue management, as well as cross project dependency awareness and management
- Efficient escalation of risks/issues that have project impacts
- Work closely with Business partners and application owner on the planning and execution of project deliverables and timelines
- Communication of project status, roadblocks, and risks to appropriate stakeholders
Qualifications:- 5-7 years of IT project planning and management experience
- Firm understanding of project management principles (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SDLC)
- Prior experience delivering technology project
- Ability to quickly understand and engage on the project
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Excellent problem-solving skills; Risk and Issue mitigation/resolution
- PMP Certification preferred
