Pay Range: $40 - $45/hr on W2/C2C all Inclusive

Introduction:

Join our dynamic Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering team as an Application Security Engineer. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our application security capabilities and supporting the rollout of AppSec tooling.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years in application development and security
  • Experience in Java, .NET, Python, Node.js
  • Strong AppSec expertise
  • Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA tools
  • Knowledge of secure SDLC
  • Cloud experience (AWS/Azure)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Prior work experience in the financial sector or related industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration
  • Proficiency in threat modeling
  • Experience in secure coding practices

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Implement AppSec practices across the SDLC
  • Perform threat modeling and secure design reviews
  • Conduct secure code reviews
  • Analyze vulnerabilities for exploitability and reachability
  • Support AppSec tool onboarding and rollout
  • Enable developers with secure coding practices
  • Provide reporting and dashboards
