Application Support

Title: IT Application Support Analyst (Night Shift)
Location: Birmingham, AL -- Remote
Duration: 6 months (Possibility of Extension)
Pay Range: $22/hr - $29/hr

Role Overview

• Support software systems through troubleshooting, technical assistance, installation, and user training.
• Maintain and update high-quality application support documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather information on application design and functionality to propose solutions.
• Respond to user inquiries about software operation; troubleshoot system and operator issues.
• Monitor routine and critical processes/workflows to spot and address problem trends proactively.
• Assist with application implementations and configuration tasks.
• Perform root-cause analysis and deliver technical fixes for production application errors.
• Execute application testing across development, QA, and production environments.
• Deploy service releases, patches, change requests, and customizations.
• Collaborate with senior associates; work is reviewed for accuracy and completeness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR High school diploma plus four (4) years of relevant experience.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical users.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
