Akkodis is seeking an Application Support Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture, along with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues in enterprise environments.

Rate Range: $51/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Application Support Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Provide production support for enterprise applications and act as the primary point of contact for application-related issues.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and system issues to ensure business continuity.

• Support applications built on Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.

• Perform root cause analysis, problem resolution, and application remediation activities.

• Monitor application performance, system health, and service availability while proactively identifying potential issues.

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, QA, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and operational support.

• Support deployment activities, incident management, change management, and release validation processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

• 5-7 years of experience in:

• Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Application Support, Production Support.

• Strong expertise in:

• Core Java Development,Spring Boot Framework, Microservices-Based Applications, Application Remediation, IT Troubleshooting, Engineering Support

• Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and problem management processes.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) platforms.

• Retail industry experience.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and performance optimization practices.

• Experience supporting cloud-based or distributed enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern application support methodologies.

Pay Details: $51.00 to $53.00 per hour
