Pay Range: $40 - $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and support production applications.
- Investigate and resolve application incidents and outages.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and database teams.
- Support application deployments and production releases.
- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Must have skills: - Strong experience in Application Support/Production Support, Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH), Infrastructure troubleshooting, and Oracle Database (SQL/PL/SQL preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in Application/Production Support.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash/Korn).
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Experience troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL is preferred.
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 production support environment when required.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- ITIL knowledge.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, Control-M, or monitoring tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Willingness to learn Oracle-related technologies and expand technical expertise.
