Application Support / UniVerse (Pick BASIC) Developer
Fully Remote Contract Target Pay Range: $65-$85/hour (W2 or C2C, depending on engagement)
About the Role
We are seeking a UniVerse (Pick BASIC) Application Support Developer to support and enhance a mission-critical enterprise collections system. This fully remote contract role focuses on maintaining and configuring legacy platforms that remain essential to business operations.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in UniVerse / MultiValue environments, enjoys solving complex system issues, and can work independently while collaborating with technical leads and stakeholders in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and configure the CUBS / The Collector System • Create, modify, and maintain programs and subroutines using UniVerse BASIC (Pick BASIC) • Develop and update UniVerse PROCs to support batch processing and workflows • Modify and maintain Linux scripts and cron jobs as needed • Troubleshoot system issues, analyze root causes, and recommend solutions • Participate in meetings via Microsoft Teams to discuss requirements and assignments • Work independently while partnering with a technical lead on solution design
