Application System Analyst/ Programing | Central Staffing Office | Day Shift | Full-time

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.  Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in application systems analysis, IT support, or a related technical role. Demonstrated experience in the following areas is required:

  • Analyzing business processes and translating needs into technical solutions
  • Testing applications, including User Acceptance Testing and performance monitoring
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical, database, or application issues
  • Writing and maintaining technical documentation, process flows, and data dictionaries
  • Working with SQL and reporting tools to extract, analyze, and manage data
  • Managing or contributing to IT projects, including system upgrades or implementations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, IT, and business users

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:

• Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose

NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
