Compensation:
• The pay for this position is $17.00 per hour - biweekly
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Highlights:
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday with an 8-hour shift that may fluctuate to accommodate day/night projects and different time zones
• Paid onsite training is provided and training hours may vary between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Position is onsite in Smithfield, RI
Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support to field technicians, vendors, and contractors during technology rollouts and store hardware implementations
• Handle inbound and outbound calls in a call queue environment supporting multiple technical projects simultaneously
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and technology implementation issues while ensuring project protocols are followed
• Update tracking applications, complete system validations, and document project updates through email and Excel
• Support multiple technology rollout projects occurring across different time zones and schedules
• Maintain clear, professional, and accurate verbal and written communication with technicians and project teams
• Follow training materials, handbooks, and implementation procedures provided for each project
• Assist with project coordination and issue escalation as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred
• IT hardware installation or technology implementation experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to work onsite in Smithfield, RI
• Must be flexible with shift scheduling based on project needs
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
