Provide front-line support to Equities Front Office Traders, Middle Office teams, and Compliance on the trading floor.
Monitor trading platforms and FIX network connectivity to ensure system stability and performance.
Diagnose and resolve real-time trading issues, including investigation of compliance-related inquiries.
Communicate and escalate major incidents to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
Gather business requirements from traders; document, track, and prioritize enhancement requests.
Translate business needs into detailed specifications for vendor and development teams.
Partner with Support and QA teams to document business workflows and enhance regression testing coverage.
Maintain and update knowledge bases, support scripts, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
3+ years of experience supporting mission-critical trading applications on an Equities trading floor (e.g., US Market Making, ETFs, Electronic Trading, Global Program Trading, Options).
Strong understanding of high-touch trading workflows, FIX protocol, OMS, IOI, market data, and CTM processes.
Solid knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., Reg NMS, Reg SHO, CAT, ACT, ORF, TRACE).
Proficiency with Linux, SQL, JIRA, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus.
