Seeking an experienced Applications Development Analyst to support remediation, enhancement, modernization, and maintenance of enterprise web applications and databases. The consultant will analyze existing applications, develop remediation strategies, implement system enhancements, and support cloud and on-premises application environments while ensuring alignment with financial system modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing web applications and document functional and technical specifications.

• Develop remediation strategies for impacted web applications and databases.

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to identify application improvements.

• Remediate and enhance web applications to support enterprise modernization initiatives.

• Develop and maintain applications using Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Angular, and React.

• Work with database administrators to create database views, stored procedures, and supporting database objects.

• Implement Chart of Accounts and financial system changes within existing applications.

• Analyze financial data and recommend improvements to application data models.

• Utilize Azure DevOps for work management, source control, deployments, and release management.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and team collaboration activities.

• Support ongoing maintenance and operational activities for enterprise applications.

• Perform knowledge transfer and documentation for technical and business teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing applications using Classic ASP and ASP.NET.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Angular and/or React.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.

• Experience working with on-premises and cloud-based application environments.

• Strong SQL development and database management experience.

• Experience implementing solutions across multiple data sources and technologies.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills.

• Experience following Agile development methodologies and best practices.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with full-stack application development.

• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks.

• Experience supporting financial systems or ERP applications.

• Familiarity with enterprise data management concepts and architectures.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.

• Equivalent work experience may substitute for education requirements.
