The organization supplies precision machining solutions used across industries including medical devices, electronics, automotive, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing.DescriptionThe Applications Engineer will:Develop part programs for CNC machines, support process development, and deliver customer training in a manufacturing environment.Conduct pre‑sale activities, including customer visits, machine evaluations, recommendations, and part‑processing guidance.Prepare accurate cost estimates, write engineering reports, and interpret plans and specifications.Review and interpret part drawings, plans, and technical specifications.Create time studies and perform first‑piece run‑offs.Program, set up, and train customers on CNC lathes, as well as CNC vertical and horizontal mills, ensuring programs meet customer requirements.Provide remote and on‑site customer support, including travel to customer sites.Set up, align, and integrate bar feed units.Travel within the tri‑state area up to 50%, with additional domestic and international travel as required.
