A leading machine tool organization is seeking an Applications Engineer to support customer applications and technical operations in Long Island. This role focuses on CNC programming and machine installations to help clients successfully implement precision equipment. You will be responsible for process development, technical demonstrations, and providing high level support to ensure optimal machine performance for diverse manufacturing needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Program and operate specialized CNC machines

Run customer parts for prove out, demonstrations, and time studies

Process development, equipment and tooling selection for customer applications

Provide customer training on machine operation and setup

Perform in house and on site demonstrations

Provide phone and in person technical support

Support dealers and sales teams with technical evaluations

Location

Long Island, New York

Hours

Monday through Friday with travel required

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 + end of year bonus
