Job Description
The key responsibilities the Applications Engineer are:
- Provide technical support to customers, sales teams, and channel partners regarding product selection, application design, and system integration
- Review customer specifications and develop engineered solutions aligned with application requirements
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and product configurations
- Collaborate with internal engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and meet delivery timelines
- Serve as a subject matter expert on product capabilities, performance, and installation requirements
- Support product testing, validation, and troubleshooting efforts both internally and at customer sites
- Assist with commissioning and startup activities to ensure proper system operation
- Develop and deliver technical documentation, including submittals, manuals, and application notes
- Provide training and technical guidance to customers, sales teams, and field service personnel
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and new applications based on customer feedback and market needs

The Successful Applicant
The successful Applications Engineer will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, product engineering, or technical sales support
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment, automation systems, or electromechanical products
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and system requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with customers
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
