Endpoint Engineer (Contract)
Location: Onsite – Palo Alto, CA

Pay Rate: $55/hr - $76/hr

Role Overview
Ryzen Solutions is seeking a contractor for an onsite role in Palo Alto. You will build and manage the device ecosystem, focusing on hardware automation and virtual desktops. The goal is a "zero-touch" experience for a global team. You’ll be the go-to expert for Apple, Windows, and cloud desktop infrastructure.

Tech Stack
Apple: Jamf Pro (macOS & iOS)
Windows/Android: Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
VDI: Amazon WorkSpaces (AWS)
Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python

What You’ll Do
Device Management: Handle daily maintenance, patching, and security for all endpoints. Act as the final escalation point for complex issues.
Fleet Architecture: Maintain Jamf Pro for Apple devices and Intune for Windows/Android. Lead policy application and application delivery.
Provisioning: Use Apple Business Manager and Windows Autopilot for automated deployments.
VDI Ops: Optimize Amazon WorkSpaces, including directory management and custom image creation.
Automation: Write scripts in PowerShell and Bash to automate tasks. Package software (dmg, pkg, msi) for silent installs.

Qualifications
Experience: 3–5+ years in Endpoint Engineering or MDM roles.
Platform Mastery: Expert-level Jamf Pro and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) skills.
VDI: Hands-on experience with Amazon WorkSpaces.
Mobile: Experience running BYOD programs for iOS and Android.
Scripting: Ability to write Bash and PowerShell scripts from scratch.
Identity: Familiarity with Okta or Azure AD (Entra ID) for enrollment and SSO.

Education: Degree in CS, IT, or equivalent experience. Certifications (Jamf 200/300, MS MD-102, AWS) are a plus.

Bonus: AI Deployment Skills
Experience rolling out the following tools is a major plus:
AI Search: Glean (connector configuration, SSO integration).
Dev Tools: Claude Code or GitHub Copilot (licensing and plugin distribution).
Productivity: Claude Cowork or similar desktop agents.
Compliance: Managing DLP and network allowlisting for LLM endpoints.
